We have finally arrived to Vientienne and were greeted very warmly by family as you can see in some of the pictures. Everyone is SO amazingly friendly and hospitable! We are really at a loss of words at what we are experiencing right now. Absolutely love it! It is scorching hot and humid during the day and very pleasant in the morning and evening. All of the posted pictures are from our first day here in the outskirts of Vientienne. Even though we were mentally prepared for the poverty here, it is really beyond comprehension until you see it but EVERYONE seems very happy. We will try to post pictures from today...tomorrow. Wow
